Element by Westin Hotel, IB Tower in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 2017

This is a closeup of how we modified the LED Par fixtures.

We needed precisely 7 degrees of beam spread in order to get light on to the sculpture and not spill on to the ceiling or on to the people below.

After some trial and error we figured out the slot size and manufactured a louver contraption for each row of LED’s. We were then able to use the lens assembly screw to mount them.

This piece is a permanent installation in the lobby of a future Element by Westin Hotel occupying the top half of the IB Tower in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
